Mongolia by Lada

To get to Mongolia from Russia, you got only two choices if you travel by car. Either enter in the north or enter through the Altaï. Well this is for us the better Alps stretching a vast area in Siberia.

Since we didn't thought about it, aparrently borders are closed in the weekend. So we needed to race to the Mongolian border or we were stuck in no man's land.

Mongolia, you again have only two choices now. Either go North and hit the mountains or take the southern route direction Gobi desert. We went south.

You could easily drive for 6 hours without seeing anyone and then suddenly SvetLada decides to give up.

And then the road stops. Now you don't have a choice, pick a track stay on it and hope for the best and maybe 8 hours later you find a piece of asphalt.
