The last weekend of April 2026 we held our own edition of Paris-Roubaix, Hell of The North. 53 shitboxes gathered to conquer the cobblestones of Northern France.
In the first stage we drove to Marseilles (Northern France) on small inner roads through the country side, so the participants could estimate the pace of driving 400 km on small roads. Especially because the next day would be the real hell.
After a BBQ and a night along the campfire we woke of almost frozen but ready for the real adventure.
430 km from which 75 km of gravel and cobblestones. Some participants left the designed route earlier directly to the campsite so they didn't arrive after midnight. But most of them did the whole route driving for more than 12 hours on the finest cobblestones in the world.
The winner of this edition was the "Reliant" Robin being the worst shitbox with numerous breakdowns but doing the whole trip after more than 14 hours on the road. They won a free entry for a next Shitbox Adventures weekend.
